dispel (v): To make a doubt, feeling, or belief disappear.

foundation (n): An underlying basis or principle for something.

humanist (adj): Relating to a system of thought that places prime importance on human rather than divine or supernatural matters.

slave (n): A person who is the legal property of another and is forced to obey them.
