SAMPLE OBITUARY NOTICE

John Armstrong, New York, 47, died Friday 12:14, July 9, 2040, at his home, after a long battle with bone cancer.

He left his wife of 42, Mary; his son, his daughter, his three grandchildren and many close friends.

Born in New York, but raised in Los Angeles, he spent two third of his life in Los Angeles. He started his education in New York Elementary school, and then he continued in Granada Hills Charter Elementary School and Susan Miller Dorsey High School. After graduating from high school he attended to English Language Teaching department in Oxford University.
While studying there he found his soul mate and partner for life at the age of 24, when he married Mary of nearby California, and in the same year he took a position as an English teacher at Arleta High School and then he continued his job in a small village of California, in Dr. Maya Angelou High School where he worked until his death.

He loved good food and socializing, enjoyed going to movies and plays with friends, and had a wonderful smile that could light up a room. He had a great deal of humor. Writing and especially reading was a passion for him. He had numerous books in his house.

His funeral was held in his hometown New York. Many people were there for his last journey. He was buried next to his father and mother. Written in his grave stone; Even if there is a death at the end of the story, you must look on the bright side of life…
